The Bridal Facial Timeline: Six Months to Wedding-Day Skin

Wedding-day skin is built over months, not in the week before. Here is the schedule used with brides across Frisco, Plano and McKinney.

Six to four months out

Begin monthly European facials and establish a home routine. This is the window for corrective work — congestion, texture and pigmentation all need time.

Three to two months out

Add LED or microcurrent depending on your goal, and book a makeup trial so the look and the skin prep are decided in advance.

One month out

Final corrective facial. From here on, nothing new: no new products, no new actives, no first-time treatments.

The final two weeks

Book one hydrating, non-extraction facial seven to ten days before the wedding. Then leave the skin alone. The most common bridal mistake is a last-minute aggressive treatment three days out.

  • Do: hydrate, sleep, wear SPF daily
  • Do not: try a new peel, new brand or new esthetician in the final fortnight

The Takeaway

Start six months out, finish corrective work a month out, and give your skin a calm, hydrating facial ten days before you walk down the aisle.
